7 - Day Challenge for Leadership
Write down the cause, mission, or vision you care about most.
One sentence.
If you can’t explain it simply, you’re not ready to lead it yet.
Ask yourself: Who am I responsible to?
Leadership without accountability becomes ego.
Name one person or community you serve.
Identify one system you rely on that is weak or nonexistent.
Meetings? Communication? Rest?
Write down one way to strengthen it.
Who are you teaching?
If you disappeared tomorrow, who could continue the work?
Leadership multiplies when knowledge is shared.
Notice where you’ve been chasing validation instead of results.
Then choose consistency over applause.
Rest on purpose.
Leadership that ignores rest creates resentment.
Care is not a reward—it’s a strategy.
Decide what you are willing to stay committed to
even when no one is watching,
even when it’s slow,
even when it’s inconvenient.
The 7-Day Leadership Challenge is inspired by the teachings, strategies, and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Bayard Rustin. This challenge is designed to move leadership beyond inspiration and into practice—encouraging clarity, accountability, discipline, and sustainability in both personal growth and collective action. Leadership is not measured by visibility, but by responsibility.
